Quarry Hill Unhealthy Area, 1900_s

To gain preliminary insights and explore potential trends and patterns in the data from the first volume of the Quarry Hill Unhealthy Area, the 1900s historical reference book. A team of four individuals manually and randomly selected a sample of 100 properties to ensure a suitable representation of the population. The University of Leeds Special Collection Library was used to access the historical reference book, which consists of four volumes. The other three volumes were also reviewed to inform decisions about the sample size and potential directions for future research. In addition, the researchers utilized a Google search engine to gather information about crime rates in Quarry Hill during the 1900s.
